When you list a car

We collect your name, contact information, vehicle details (VIN, photos, condition description, asking price), and your location for listing purposes.

When you inquire about a car

We collect your name, contact information, and the message you choose to send to the seller.

When you apply to be a dealer

We collect business information including dealership name, your role, business email and phone, DMS provider, and disposition volume.

Automatic collection

Like most websites, we collect basic usage data via Google Analytics: pages visited, approximate location, device type, and referral source. This helps us improve the product.

2. How we use your information

• To connect buyers and sellers who choose to interact
• To send transaction-related emails (listing confirmations, inquiry notifications, account updates)
• To prevent fraud and protect our users
• To improve the platform based on aggregated usage patterns
• To comply with legal obligations when required

3. Information we share

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these specific cases:

• With counterparties you choose to contact — if you inquire about a car, the seller sees your name and contact info
• With service providers — companies that help us operate (hosting, email delivery, analytics). These providers are contractually limited to using your data only on our behalf
• When legally required — in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or similar legal process

• MarketCheck & NHTSA — vehicle pricing and VIN decoding
• AutoFi — financing referrals (only when you choose to apply)

5. Your rights

You can:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time (transactional emails will continue)
